Agencies listing client businesses

Your agency login is not the client’s email. When you add a business, enter the owner’s mailbox. We email them that you published their Name, Address, and Phone.

Confirm

The owner can confirm it is their business and let you keep managing the public listing. Use this when you handle their citations or local SEO.

Take over

They can create their own login and move the listing off your account. After that you cannot edit that page.

Report

If they did not authorize the listing, they can report it. We unpublish the page and email you.

Common questions

Create a free Citation listing: register as a business, add your company name, city, and category. That listing appears in the public directory. A free listing cannot take project leads, send a quote or estimate, or publish service offers. You can add license and insurance details yourself. We do not inspect the work, and a listing is not a quality endorsement.

A directory listing is free. To take project leads and publish packaged service offers, upgrade to Basic Pro ($29/month) or Elite Pro ($79/month). We do not take a commission on jobs you win. Paid membership is a seat plus monthly lead credits. Credits cap how many jobs you can take; they do not promise how many jobs will be posted.

Lead credits are the units paid businesses use on Services Billboard to take work. They live in your wallet. A free Citation listing puts you in the public directory. Lead credits are what let you accept a matching posted project or a customer's request on one of your service offers. They are not a fee to enter a bidding contest, a ranking boost, or a commission on the job.

How they are used. Credits are spent only when you accept. Decline or ignore is free. After you accept a posted-project lead, you can send a quote or estimate in the app — that does not spend another credit. Accepting a request on a packaged service offer uses the same credits as a posted-project lead in that category. Email, phone, and street stay hidden until the customer hires you.

Cost is weighted by trade, so a month of credits is not a promise of that many jobs. A typical handyman job uses 1 credit; plumbing 3; HVAC 4; roofing 6.

What you get each month.

  • Free Citation: public listing only. No lead credits. You cannot take leads or publish service offers.
  • Basic Pro ($29/month): 20 lead credits each month, and up to 5 packaged service offers you can publish.
  • Elite Pro ($79/month): 100 lead credits each month, and up to 10 packaged service offers you can publish.

Credits cap how many jobs you can take. They do not promise how many jobs will be posted. The 5 or 10 service offers are how many packages you can list. Taking a request on an offer still spends lead credits from the same wallet.

Need more credits? On a paid plan, open Lead Credits in your dashboard (or the top menu) and buy extra packs - 10 credits for $5, 20 for $9, 50 for $20, or 100 for $35. Free listings must upgrade before they can buy credits or take leads.

Yes, on a paid plan. Free Citation cannot list offers. Publishing an offer is included in the paid seat and is capped by your plan. When a customer requests that package and you take the request, it spends the same lead credits as accepting a posted-project lead in that category.

Not when you accept a lead. Email, phone, and street stay hidden until the customer hires you. After you accept, you can message on the project in the app without seeing their contact details.

Payment is between you and the customer. Services Billboard does not process job payments, hold escrow, or take a cut of the job price. You and the customer set terms. We do not inspect the work or mediate disagreements.

Yes. Change your plan from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect when billed. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
